I've always been drawn to Impressionistic works, and Claude Monet is certainly one of the artists who have influenced me. As a child, I dreamt of one day creating a painting as beautiful as those I admired. Their beauty felt effortless, their colors playful, their brushstrokes moving in ways one could never anticipate. This piece is the result of me stepping into that dream, to follow those wandering strokes and see where they might lead me.
The original piece is created by the artist Lovisa Bengtsson on a canvas with acrylic paint.
