My Grandpa's deep love for the plant kingdom and my Grandma's creative mind came together to create a garden. Nothing there is overly polished, nothing is forced, yet it’s stunning. Each plant is allowed to retain its personality and be unique as it is. It grows where it wants, it knows what it needs and why stop it?

This garden makes me feel many of the feelings I feel when I paint. It’s freedom, creativity, care, a calm and peaceful place within the mind. When the painting feels right, it's right. It grows where it wants, it knows what it needs and why stop it?

I usually paint gardens or landscapes with acrylics. Whatever I decide to paint, it’s something that makes me feel something, and speaks to me in some way. I hope it does to you too!
