In this painting I wanted to capture a quiet, almost meditative movement, the sense of calm that can be found in something as simple as a gesture.
The figure appears suspended between stillness and motion, surrounded by soft layers of colour that dissolve into one another. The painting is less about dance itself and more about presence, balance, and the feeling of being fully immersed in a moment.
