About Arvid
I work sculpturally in ceramics but not exclusively. I see my artistic work as a type of world-building, a parallel fantasy world that is in many ways similar to our own but in some ways more surreal or just little bit more odd. Want I what to do, is to bring people joy and give them the opportunity to forget themselves in my fantasy world.
Currently I’m studying my bachelor's degree in fine arts at Umeå Art University. I grew up in Stockholm. Where I used to work as a chef, but after a couple years, it was time for something new. Then I chose to move and start exploring art. It felt like I had found the right place and I chose to continue my search. And I really fell in love with ceramics and sculpture, but most of all I felt that creating art was what I loved.
