A milk tea scented candle poured into a handmade stoneware creamer jug, designed to be cleaned and reused after burning.
The vessel has a rounded body, raised foot, curved handle and pouring spout. A glossy, softly mottled glaze combines cream, pale blue-green, charcoal and muted pink. Its irregular form and freely applied colour make it a unique piece.
Once cleaned, the vessel can be reused as a milk jug, creamer, sauce pitcher or small serving jug.
Each ceramic vessel is handmade by ALKERAMIK in our small Stockholm studio, then brought to life as an exclusive scented candle in collaboration with Södermalms Ljusfabrik, who develop and hand-pour the candle to complement each unique piece.
Made with Swedish rapeseed wax especially formulated for excellent scent throw. The fragrance oils are sourced from Grasse, France, and carefully selected to reflect the character and personality of each individual ALKERAMIK vessel.
The ultimate antidote to the oversaturated mass-produced home fragrance market: Combining ALKERAMIK’s craftsmanship with Södermalms Ljusfabrik’s expertise in fragrance and candle making, each finished piece is truly one of a kind - both as an object and as an olfactory experience. ENERGY
The ceramic vessel is fired using renewable electricity
USE
Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each use. Keep the wax pool free from wick trimmings, matches and other debris. Follow the burning instructions supplied with the candle.
REUSE & CARE
Once the candle is finished, remove all remaining wax and the wick base, then wash the vessel thoroughly. The cleaned stoneware jug is food-safe, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
SAFETY
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, animals, draughts and flammable materials. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not move while lit or hot. Follow the safety label supplied with the candle.
