A gingerbread scented candle with a wooden wick, poured into a handmade ceramic stoneware bowl with a rich red-brown glaze and a pierced circular foot and spiral decorations on the outside.
The warm, spiced fragrance complements the bowl’s earthy colours and rounded form. Dark spiral patterns runs through the glossy exterior, while cream accent to decorate the interior, ready to be revealed as the candle burns.
Each ceramic vessel is handmade by ALKERAMIK in our small Stockholm studio, then brought to life as an exclusive scented candle in collaboration with Södermalms Ljusfabrik, who develop and hand-pour the candle to complement each unique piece.
Made with Swedish rapeseed wax especially formulated for excellent scent throw. The fragrance oils are sourced from Grasse, France, and carefully selected to reflect the character and personality of each individual ALKERAMIK vessel.

WOODEN WICK CARE
Before lighting, check the wick length against the instructions supplied with the candle. Always let the wax and wick cool completely before trimming.
Before relighting, gently remove loose, charred wood from the wick’s top. Clear all fragments from the wax, then hold a lighter flame against the wick until it catches and stays lit.
Follow the burning-time limits on the candle’s label and allow the candle to cool fully between uses.
Sometimes wooden wicks need to be relit a few times before it functions normally the first time if use.
REUSE & CARE
Once the candle is finished, remove all remaining wax and the wick base, then wash the bowl thoroughly. The cleaned vessel is food-safe and dishwasher-safe. Reuse it for rice, snacks, dips or small keepsakes. Microwave safe.
SAFETY
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not move the candle while lit or while the wax is hot. Follow the safety label supplied with the candle.
