A sturdy three-footed incense and herb-burning dish made from Swedish terracotta and fired using renewable electricity.
A small, rustic smudge dish designed for burning loose incense, herbs and other aromatic materials.
Made entirely from Swedish terracotta (that is earthenware dug up in Sweden), the dish is heat-resistant and stands securely on three feet. The raised design reduces heat transfer between the dish and the surface beneath it.
Available in two finishes:
Naked - untreated orange Swedish terracotta
Darkened - finished by oil firing with Swedish canola oil
Both versions have the same heat-resistant properties. Natural variations in colour and shape make every piece unique.
The dish can also be used with charcoal for burning aromatic resins such as frankincense. Charcoal produces considerably more heat, so always place the dish on a suitable heat-resistant surface.
