In Still Standing, a young woman arrives at the dandelion fields believing she has reached the end of her journey. Instead, she discovers a purpose greater than herself. The work captures the quiet moment when survival transforms into courage — when the decision to remain standing becomes the beginning of something new.
The dandelion fields become a place of reflection, resilience and renewal. The figure is not only a person within the image, but a symbol of those who have endured, adapted and continued forward despite what they have carried.
Still Standing is part of the ongoing series The Children of the Dandelions — a collection of interconnected visual narratives where each artwork carries its own story while contributing to a larger universe.
Built from multiple photographic and digital layers, the artwork combines fragments of reality collected over many years into an imagined landscape shaped by memory, emotion and hope.
Throughout The Children of the Dandelions, the characters become guardians, guides and keepers of memory. They represent those who have been unseen, forgotten or left behind — their stories continuing through those willing to remember and carry them forward.
Still Standing is part of an ongoing exploration of grief, belonging, resilience and hope.

You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Custom-made or specially ordered products are not covered by the right of return.
To make a return, go to your order via the Cay Customer link (in your confirmation email or SMS), tap “Claim”, then select “Return.”
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, either paid directly or via a provided return label, with the cost deducted from the refund.
