Product Description
Heighten the cozy feeling with a handmade, unique candle holder in brown and white color tone. Great to give as a gift or decorate your home with.
Here’s how the candle holder is made:
I start by making templates in paper for all my designs. Then the clay is kneaded thoroughly. I use a special kind of rolling pin to make slabs of clay, the technique is called slab-building. They need to dry slightly before I can cut, bend and join the pieces of clay. When the item is finished, I leave it to dry before it can be bisque fired, then glazed, and then high-fired. The whole process takes weeks from start to finish.
Dimensions:
Height: 5 cm
Width with handle: 12 cm

Creator Story
Hello and a warm welcome! Many years ago I fell in love with handbuilding - rolling out clay slabs and joining the pieces together. Comments I get from market visitors: ”They make you feel calm. The colours look like sand. They feel soft” I share little glimpses of the process...
