"Behind My Closed Eyes" is one of my newer pieces where I've explored my relationship with creativity and let my intuition lead me forward, creating a vibrant red landscape with a naked wizard, gazing at the onlooker with a feeling of vague contempt.
The deep canvas frame is re-purposed from a painting found second-hand and the canvas is stretched by hand by yours truly, ensuring a tight and even stretch.
The frame is made out of reclaimed roughly cut wood strips, nailed with black nails.
The painting can be hung on the wall by a steel wire attached with screws on the inside of the frame.
