### Sofia Reshmi — Artist Introduction Sofia Reshmi is a Swedish contemporary artist whose practice explores the tension between **chaos and structure, emotion and control, and the personal and the universal**. Working across painting, photography, mixed media and sculptural objects, Reshmi combines analogue elements, found imagery, bold graphic interventions and unexpected materials to create works that are both visually immediate and conceptually layered. Her practice is driven by a fascination with how we organise, remember and make sense of the world around us — often finding beauty in the spaces where order begins to break down. Since publicly presenting her work in February 2025, Reshmi has built a rapidly growing international collector base. She has sold more than **140 artworks to collectors across three continents and ten countries**, with her works now forming part of private collections where they hang alongside artists such as **Pablo Picasso, Walasse Ting, Roy Lichtenstein, Helmut Newton, Carl Larsson, Carl Milles, William Sweetlove and Ernst Bill**. Rather than following a traditional path into the art world, Reshmi has built her career with the mindset of both an artist and an entrepreneur — developing her own audience, community, international network and market. This independent approach has become an integral part of her artistic identity. Her work moves freely between the intimate and the cultural, the playful and the provocative. Familiar symbols, everyday observations and fragments of contemporary life are transformed through colour, text, photography and material experimentation. Beneath the graphic surface is often a deeper investigation into identity, human behaviour, longing, relationships and the contradictions of modern life. Reshmi’s practice is ultimately about **making sense of a world that rarely makes sense** — creating structure from chaos, while leaving enough space for emotion, humour and ambiguity. Today, her work is represented in private collections internationally, with an expanding presence across Europe and the United States.
