STRAWBERRY SEASON — a burst of summer filled with childhood memories 🍓🍰
In the background stands a red house with white trim, surrounded by lush green trees. On the table there is a strawberry cake and a bowl of freshly picked strawberries. Some of the strawberries still have their green tops attached, symbolizing that they come from a hand-picked harvest. In the bottle is a red cordial representing homemade “grandma’s juice,” and at the front of the table lies a small bundle of handpicked wildflowers.
The flowers in the scene include lupines, harebells, scentless mayweed, red campion, and midsummer flowers — wild blooms that many of us have gathered into summer bouquets. The sweetness and scents from the table have attracted two admiral butterflies as well as bumblebees buzzing around the table.
