Product Description
Product Description
This is a solid walnut photo or art frame, crafted from a flat profile. What makes it truly special is the large mat with a small 9x12 cm cutout. This composition creates a beautiful wall piece—the proportions and materials combine to form something simple, yet visually striking.
The mat is made from a beautiful, lightly textured paper that pairs well with photos in a wide range of color palettes. Not every photo needs to be large on our wall. Sometimes, an image is too colorful or chaotic and could visually overwhelm a space—yet we still want to display it for its sentimental value. Other times, a photo is simply too personal or intimate to be turned into a poster. This charming solution allows you to turn any photo into a work of art.
The frame features a flat concave profile - my own design. It measures approximately 2.9 cm by 2.1cm. From the front, it creates a subtle ornament of natural wood. This is my favorite kind of minimalist aesthetic, it pairs beautifully with black and white photographs, as well as artwork in pencil, ink, or chalk.
I really enjoy working with this profile and encourage you to explore other frames made from it, available in different wood types and proportions across my shop. Please visit my other listings and see small frames made from it.
Each frame is handcrafted by me. Every frame comes with a 2mm glass cover and an off-white mat with a soft, refined texture.
