Product Description
Do you want something unique and handmade for your cozy moments at home? Or are you looking for a gift to someone who loves houses?
This is a handbuilt ceramic house for a tealight in a mix of beige color tones. The style is minimalist yet rustic and with a country feel.
Here’s how the house is made:
I start by making templates in paper. Then the clay is kneaded thoroughly. I use a special kind of rolling pin to make slabs of clay, the technique is called slab-building. They need to dry slightly before I can cut, bend and join the pieces of clay. When the item is finished, I leave it to dry before it can be bisque fired, then glazed, and then high-fired. The whole process takes several weeks from start to finish.
Dimensions:
Width: 9 cm
Height with chimney: 12 cm
Depth: 6,5 cm

Creator Story
Hello and a warm welcome! Many years ago I fell in love with handbuilding - rolling out clay slabs and joining the pieces together. Comments I get from market visitors: ”They make you feel calm. The colours look like sand. They feel soft” I share little glimpses of the process...
