Ceramic capital - Beige/Pink

A capital from the KURSIV series, where everything leans a little to the right. This sculpture is hand-built from stoneware, painted with pink engobe and then glazed with glossy glaze. Both front and back are decoratively carved, with the front having the pink engobe color and the back being without the pink, with the carved lines. In this way, you can choose the page according to context!

KURSIV is a series where the steady and proportional gets a little push to the right. What happens if a football pitch becomes italic, if a building plan is skewed, if a capital is tilted? Deviations from the standardized dimensions and angles affect the play, the space and the load-bearing capacity of structures. A few degrees of inclination makes a difference. The rigid must meet the crooked and be set in motion.

The sculpture has a hole on top, which makes it possible to decorate it with, for example, eternal flowers or other dried flowers (not to hold water). Only available in one copy.
