Ingrid’s painting Float into Nothingness draws inspiration from a poem by Keats “When I have fears that I may cease to be”. Initially created with live cranes resting on water lilies for her textile store in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, the piece evolved to feature dead birds, moving away from a purely decorative aesthetic to a deeper, more mournful narrative. The original piece is done with oils on linen measuring 2.75 x 1.50 m
