As Above, So Below unfolds across a quiet horizontal divide, where luminous air meets dense, earthen matter. The upper field drifts in pale gradients of rose, mint, and misted blue, textured with restrained incisions and subtle relief—like traces left by wind or memory. Below, a deep, burnished amber radiates warmth and weight, its surface layered and tactile, absorbing light rather than reflecting it.
The meeting line between the two realms is neither sharp nor stable. It softens, bleeds, and shifts—suggesting exchange rather than separation. What appears calm above is mirrored by intensity beneath; what glows below is tempered by restraint above.
The work explores reciprocity: inner and outer worlds, spirit and body, lightness and gravity. It invites the viewer to consider how what rises is rooted, and how what lies beneath quietly shapes what is seen.
