I made A Boy, a Girl, and Their Dog as a wedding gift for my son Iman and his wife Lisa. It was inspired by a photograph by Andrea Calisi, but it quickly took on a life of its own. The painting became a way to express love and companionship, the easy closeness between the three of them. The mix of oil and acrylic gave me the softness and depth I wanted for such a personal piece.

Each poster was printed on 180g Fabriano paper.
