Collection: Gustav Lellky

My name is Gustav Lellky. I was born and raised in Ystad, but I now live in the inspiring city of Stockholm. I’ve always felt a strong need to create and express myself in different ways, it’s been a natural part of who I am for as long as I can remember.

Much of my inspiration comes from within. I’m also inspired by people and the way they express themselves. Through music, clothing and especially through their emotions and expressions. Creating collages helps me process what I feel, both consciously and unconsciously. The face carries our emotions and often reflects what we don’t say out loud. I find something beautiful in that, how we all express ourselves so differently.

I never plan what a collage will look like. I follow my impulses and let the process take shape as I go. When I create intuitively, the result feels more honest and playful. Working with limitations, like using only one magazine, a scissor and a pen, sparks my creativity. It becomes spontaneous and unexpected, just the way I like it.

My collages are images of myself. A mix of feelings, thoughts, and expressions. They reflect what I’m going through, who I am, and how I want to connect with the world.
