A hand-painted watercolour reproduction of the original, created to order on acid-free A3 artist paper. Delicate washes of soft, desaturated colour are embellished with genuine gold leaf.
The subtle palette creates a fresh and visually engaging composition that pairs beautifully with other artworks and is best displayed in a light wood frame.
Inspired by the experience of immigrating to Scandinavia from a warm African climate, this work reflects the physical and emotional changes of adapting to a new environment.
Each reproduction is individually hand-painted, making every artwork unique in its colour, form, and character.

Each seller on Cay Collective manages their own orders, including returns, refunds, and cancellations.
You have 14 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Custom-made or specially ordered products are not covered by the right of return.
To make a return, go to your order via the Cay Customer link (in your confirmation email or SMS), tap “Claim”, then select “Return.”
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility, either paid directly or via a provided return label, with the cost deducted from the refund.
