A handmade thick earthenware serving bowl with a bold black spiral across a blue-grey glazed interior and a warm, burnished clay exterior.
Painted by hand with slip, the spiral winds from the centre towards the rim. Visible brushstrokes and uneven bands give the pattern movement, while the glossy interior catches the light.
The rounded exterior has been burnished to a soft sheen, bringing out the reddish-brown colour of the Danish earthenware. A small circular foot lifts the bowl above the table.
At approximately 21 cm across, this ceramic bowl is suited to serving salads, sharing dishes or displaying fruit. Its striking interior also makes it a decorative centrepiece when empty.
Handmade in Stockholm and fired using renewable electricity.

NOTE: the crack under the foot in the bottom exterior is a drying crack, it is superficial and does not affect the structural integrity of the bowl. The nominal price is lowered because of this.
