"You look tormented" is a quote from my mother.
At the time, I was working full-time and painting every free second I had during the weekends in preparation for an exhibition 2025. This work was created after those intense months. An expressionist portrait painted with my palette knife.

My art is not supposed to be pretty, but colorful and raw, which show through thick strokes of oil paint with my palette knife. A chaos exists within me which needs to be satisfied. It’s telling me to let go of all expectations, because nothing is the way you want...
