"You look tormented" is a quote from my mother during the first half of 2025.
At the time, I was working full-time and painting every free second I had during the weekends in preparation for an exhibition in May 2025. After the exhibition, I reflected on the months that had passed and painted this work during the summer. An expressionist portrait painted with my palette knife.
