My work is inspired by both the simple elements of everyday life and the defining experiences that have shaped who I am today. Much of my artistic perspective is influenced by my parents and the sacrifices they made to always put me and my brother first.

My work explores the search for identity when life takes an unexpected turn—when you were meant to grow up in one country, but a civil war forced your family to begin again in another, a place where you had no roots or connections. It reflects the experience of being born and raised in a country that many people consider entirely yours, while others still question your belonging, despite feeling undeniably and completely Swedish.

Through abstract art, I experiment with mixed media, embracing intuition and freedom while letting go of rules, expectations, and restrictions.
