About Tuva
Tuva Tapio studied at Kulturama in Stockholm and is a vibrant artist who loves exploring new forms of expression. From upcycling vintage garments to creating art with tactile materials, her goal is always to elevate her work into something more dynamic and joyful.
Her latest project focuses on paper art with varying volume and structure. Each layer is carefully hand-cut, creating a three-dimensional effect. Every piece is unique, with forms that either expand outward or draw inward.
For Tuva, it's essential that art has life and depth—like small sculptures within each artwork.
"I want to create art that sparks the desire to touch—just like when you were a child at a museum, wanting to feel everything but weren’t allowed to. I hope to awaken that same playful curiosity in those who see my work."
