About Petra

Petra Lundgren, the ceramic artist behind Studio Slowmade, creates small-batch ceramic collections where playfulness meets craftsmanship. Driven by curiosity and a hands-on exploration of the material, Petra continuously experiments with clay and its possibilities. She works with a range of techniques, with a focus on wheel throwing, slab building, and sculpting. She frequently incorporates the Japanese technique nerikomi, where colored clays are combined to create delicate, intricate patterns. Each object is shaped entirely by hand — from mugs and candle holders to jewelry and figurines — produced in small, unique batches and created to bring warmth, character, and joy to everyday moments.
