Studio Friday is the creative practice of Sabiha, a wheel-thrown functional ceramist based in Helsingborg. She began working with clay during the pandemic in 2021, initially as a way to reconnect with creativity, and has been practicing ceramics ever since.

Her work is primarily focused on functional pieces and everyday objects designed to bring warmth and calm into daily rituals, though she occasionally creates sculptural and non-functional work when inspiration strikes.

Over the years, she was fortunate to apprentice with a production potter, where she learned not only throwing techniques, but also the behind-the-scenes rhythm of running a ceramics studio: mixing glazes, loading and firing kilns, and building sustainable studio practices. Her work is deeply inspired by nature, quiet imperfections, and the beauty of handmade objects meant to be used and lived with.
