Usually Slavka works on series. The most typical trait of Slavka’s paintings is how the space is constructed and structured through the use of color capture her initial impression of the subject, they recreate the experience and the overall feeling she gets when she first encounters it. They are sometimes left in a slightly crude and raw state, giving a light impression of incompleteness.
