About Rushe

Rushe Berisha is a self-taught ceramic artist working primarily with handbuilt sculptural forms. Her work moves between figuration and abstraction, often exploring themes of identity, inner transformation, and emotional states through clay. Working intuitively and without fixed plans, she allows forms to emerge through touch, movement, and material resistance.

Berisha first came to clay through a need to reconnect with something tactile and grounding after years in the fast-paced, digital world of advertising and corporate work. What began as a therapeutic practice gradually evolved into a dedicated artistic path.

Most recently, her work was presented through The Castle Collection, created in collaboration with master ceramicist Isak Isaksson during a period working from an atelier at Landskrona Citadel. In 2026, she will also exhibit at 1000 Vases – Edition 226 in Paris.
