I am a ceramic artist making domestic ware and japanese style teaware. For me the process is essential, the process of thinking , of making and of being.

The last 12 years i have been working with restaurants making plates , bowls etc for them.

In my craft I am thinking in poetic terms. Poetic notions, motions and reflections are of great importance throughout my creative process. I wish for people to stop, to pause for a while and think about, the being. Where have we been and where are we going? Cracks, irregularities of form and glaze (what others call imperfections) becomes a metaphor for memories about places once visited or dreams you once had .
