Collection: ric Linder

I work with portraiture and mixed media to explore emotion, tension, and quiet states. My process often begins with photographic references, which I reduce and reinterpret through contrast, texture, and gesture.

Faces are central in my work—not as likenesses, but as containers for mood, doubt, resistance, and reflection. I’m interested in what happens in the moments when I create, the energy and result.

My work leans toward restraint rather than narrative. I try to leave space for the viewer to project their own experience, letting ambiguity do part of the work.
