My work in ceramics stems from a desire to bring joy peoples’ life. To me a piece of art does not necessary need to be something you put on the wall, but rather is something beautiful that you integrate in your daily life. That is why ceramics is such a beautiful medium to work with; the ways to integrate art pieces into daily life are infinite, just as the possibilites to spread joy, that fills a whole room, with a single piece of ceramics artwork. The art might be the cup you drink your morning coffee in, or your pot where you keep your flowers, or why not the chameleon sculpture in your window sill that brings a smile to your face after a stressful day.
I hope you find your piece that brings a joy and meaning to you.
