Collection: pom art

Lina Hedkvist is a Stockholm-based creator with roots in the north of Sweden, working under the name pom art. She creates a unique and exciting fusion between wall sculpture and painting.

"My approach is to create something robust and earthy, while carrying a sense of fragility and artificial character. I want to explore the boundaries between these extremes, allowing my work to be bold, playful and breathe artistic freedom.

This is an interpretation of my introverted and extroverted self, in a dynamic chaos.

During the creative process, I lose myself in the moment and experience a feeling of being independent and free. At the same time, the material I have chosen to work with is both fleeting and alive, which forces me to adapt and follow its natural rhythm. This creates a struggle between control and surrender- a struggle so familiar, that it feels comforting yet demands my full attention.

Art is my way of expressing, processing, accepting, and understanding."
