Nabila Ayu Aviani (b. 2000) is an Indonesian-born artist raised in the United Arab Emirates and currently based in The Hague. Shegraduated from the Royal Academy of Art (KABK) with a BA in Fine Arts and is pursuing a Pre-Master’s in Arts, Culture & Society at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Drawing heavily on her experience as an immigrant and third-culture kid, Aviani creates autobiographical figurative paintings that intersects how identity forms through shared memory, dislocation, and belonging. Her dynamic compositions unravel the intricacies of human connection, giving tangible form to the experience of existing between worlds.
