Mikaela designs ceramics inspired by the Swedish landscape and the flows of life. Drawn to nature and the landscape, she longs for form, colour, and expression. Through contact with natural materials, she creates unique ceramic works — bringing a piece of art into everyday life.
“I’m deeply drawn to the ocean and the coastline — places where the boundary between the inner and outer worlds seems to dissolve. My work is rooted in this connection. The ocean is more than inspiration — it’s a mirror, a guide, and a collaborator in my process. I combine organic forms with the intimacy and closeness of nature and life in my expressions.”
