My name is Sara and I founded MOU jewelry. In my workshop, I create jewelry by hand, mainly using recycled sterling silver.

I’m drawn to contrasts. I like things that are simple and minimalist, but also things that sparkle and are allowed to take up space. Jewelry can say something, mean something, or simply make you a little happier when you wear it. It might be a small symbol with a personal meaning, a stone that catches the light, or an unexpected detail that contrasts with the simplicity.

Sometimes a stone or a piece of sea-smoothed glass becomes part of the jewelry, other times, the silver and the form itself take center stage.

All jewelry from MOU jewelry is handmade by me and stamped with my registered maker’s mark, MOU, as well as the silver fineness 925.
