Mio Jebrand Nord, young artist from Stockholm, Sweden. My journey with painting began in early childhood, from the moment I could first hold a paintbrush. Since then, it has taken me on a rollercoaster, where I’ve explored different styles and expressions, eventually discovering what painting truly means to me. I often focus on distinct elements or let my paintings speak boldly to the viewer, carrying a message of their own. Working with acrylic, oil, and charcoal on canvas is where I feel most alive. It all traces back to that first moment - when a simple paintbrush became my way of making sense of the world, and painting became my language. And in many ways, I am still that child holding a paintbrush for the very first time - only now, I understand the freedom it gives me.
