About Milosz
I am a painter navigating the space between the real and the abstract. My work is driven by light, emotion and distortion, and often features vivid reds and yellows that bleed into the skin, creating a surreal, overexposed glow.
A lot of my inspiration comes from flash photography and moments of emotional intensity. I use oil paint to explore vulnerability, intimacy and the strange beauty of being seen.
My portraits capture quiet yet charged moments. These are not posed or polished images. They are raw, distorted and deeply human. I am interested in how the body holds memory and how faces reflect more than identity. They reveal tension, care, fear and connection. The people I paint are often caught in private moments, shielding their faces, showing love or twisting their expressions in ways that feel human and real. I’m not chasing perfection. I’m chasing presence.
Painting has been a part of my life since I was a kid. Back then it was instinctive, something I did to feel grounded. Today it’s still that, but it has also became essential as a way to process the world, heal and connect. I believe painting is a way to express what language cannot hold.
Every piece I create carries a piece of me, and I hope it connects with something in you too.
