About Milo

Milo (1986) is a Swedish painter with roots in Stockholm, now active in the boron area. The successes came early in the form of color-explosive portraits of women that became very popular popular and led to the art selling all over the world. It wasn't until the exhibition at the beautiful Kabusa Art Gallery in Österlen, med precisely these portraits, which the artist realized that the interior-friendly works did not longer yielded something in addition to the sales, which often took place for lavish luxury villas with endless running meters at ceiling height. It became psychologically and even physically impossible to create more works that did not have soul, so the interior art was scrapped!

Soon after that, the series "1986 TILL NU" began. A series inspired by own experiences and thoughts, but above all from childhood photographs. This quickly led to larger exhibitions at both galleries and art galleries. Over time, the series branched out into, among other things, "The Bat Collection" and "WHITE TIGER".

All paintings that leave Milo's studio today do so with courage, heart, soul and blood. So, to hell with commercialism!
