Collection: Matilda Ränk

I am a Swedish artist based in Stockholm.
My artworks show a diverse style that combines impressionistic and realistic elements. I am very inspired by Claude Monet and his landscape paintings, as well as Carl Larsson with his beautiful illustrations.

Many of my paintings focus on nature and urban environments where both animals and people are sometimes included. I work a lot on capturing nostalgia with soft colors and brushstrokes, where I want to give a feeling of calm and beauty. At the same time, I experiment a lot with color and play with contrasts and shades, to create depth and dimensions. My art is also about details and texture to bring out thoughts and feelings in the viewer.

In summary, my art is a harmonious blend of color, light and nature, with a personal style that invites both aesthetic appreciation and deeper emotional reflection.
