For me, it’s the symbolic, and the small details that create a story and wholeness in my art pieces. I like to emphasize atmospheres and create dreamy narratives, in that way II am finding meaning in my artistic work.
I use my technical skills to create works that are unique. Quality over quantity!
Mainly I use porcelain clay, but I also use other high fire stoneware clay in order to make durable ceramic art that lasts. I'm always experimenting to find my true identity and nisch as a maker. The core value in my ceramic practice is the human condition, through the imagery of nature and mythology. Human behaviour and psychological states will never seize to fascinate me as an artist.
