I have always carried two sides of myself. One is driven by a strong desire to understand and help others - something that has led me to study social work. The other has been part of me since childhood: the need to create.

I grew up in Mariestad, known as the Pearl of Lake Vänern, surrounded by the beauty and calm of nature. Perhaps it is no coincidence that nature has always found its way into my art.

I mainly work with watercolour and acrylic. For me, painting is a way to slow down and express feelings that are sometimes difficult to put into words. My art is a space where I can be present, creative and connected to myself.

My hope is that my work can inspire others (:
