About Malin
I am an artist, illustrator and poet who, with color, words and brushstrokes, wants to touch and convey the magic of life. In my paintings, the secrets of the forest meet dreams, mythology and strong emotions – often with elements of wild animals.
With a background in mural painting, graphic design, art education and creative writing, I work in the borderland between art, storytelling and teaching. Through my art, I want to awaken thoughts about community, hope, faith in oneself and the value of nature.
I have a YH degree in decorative painting/mural painting from Hantverksakademin and have studied graphic design, illustration and creative writing at Konstfack and Stockholm University, among others. In parallel, I have exhibited, freelanced as an illustrator, led painting courses and created poetry collections and the art saga The Golden Valley.
