Malin Ryberg (b. 1993, Sweden) works with painting as a site of immediacy - where instinct overrides control and meaning emerges through action. Working primarily in oil on large-format canvas, her process unfolds through accumulation and erasure, activating mistakes and interruptions as generative forces. Traces of landscapes, figures, and imagined structures surface and dissolve within an ongoing flux. Educated at Gerrit Rietveld Academie (BFA, 2021), her work has been shown in Amsterdam and Stockholm. Works held in private collections in Sweden, Germany, Spain, and South America.
