Collection: Linda Thörnblom

I am a self-taught artist from Sweden. I create mostly abstract paintings in acrylic and mixed media.

I draw my inspiration from feelings during the course of life, but also from impressions of the surroundings – a shape, a silhouette or the beautiful patterns in nature. I am drawn to the simple and the dull in color scales, which mostly characterizes my works. My hope is that my works will offer the viewer an invitation to reflect and feel in the encounter with the abstract. The idea is that color and shape in themselves should affect the viewer. And that everyone can read different things into the painting - depending on who the viewer is.
