Léa Medrano is an expressionist artist based in Stockholm. In acrylic, oil paint, and oil pastel, she explores the body as a motif, exploiting its vulnerability, authenticity, and capacity to challenge beauty ideals and norms. Nudity in her art becomes a way to celebrate the body as it actually is, beyond society’s expectations. Alongside that, she works with abstract expression in a more colorful, freer style.
