About Johanna
I'm Johanna, an artist and designer based in Skåne. I love exploring color, form, and harmony through painting. I began my art journey with watercolour, which then evolved to include gouache, acrylic, and digital illustration. My work brings together organic shapes, texture, and playful composition, often inspired by nature, everyday moments, and subtle expressions of emotion.
For me, making art is a balance between intention and unpredictability. I approach each art piece with both spontaneity and structure, and try to let the materials lead the way when I paint. My hope is to create pieces that feel personal but leave space for the viewer's own interpretation – something that brings warmth, colour, or even just a small moment of pause into someone else’s day.
