I’m Istvan Acs, a visual artist based in Sweden with a background in painting and art history. My work explores perception, time, and the human condition in relation to technology. I move between abstraction and figuration, often with a muted palette and recurring elements like silhouettes, reflections, screens, and architectural fragments. I combine traditional painting with digital processes such as AI-generated sketches and image manipulation. I’m also drawn to salvaged materials, which I use in my ongoing art project ReART, where I transform old objects into new poetic forms. Inspired by philosophy, science, and emotion, I aim to create spaces for reflection—works that resonate quietly and invite personal interpretation. My art does not offer clear answers, but instead opens a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, the constructed and the intuitive.
