About Hedvig
Hedvig Wallin is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Gothenburg. Her illustration career began at the age of 18 with various children’s book projects. Children’s books are something she still illustrates today, along with many other projects such as editorial illustration, murals, logos, labels, and posters.
Hedvig Wallin is inspired by naïve art, with its childlike simplicity in both expression and technique. Her style is playful, full of detail and skewed perspectives, aiming to spark the viewer’s imagination and reveal new details each time you look at her work. By mixing techniques such as ink, pencil, soft pastels, watercolor, and digital media, her art takes on a handmade and personal character.
