Multi-medium artist connecting threads between emotion, color, and textiles. I mostly paint floral still lives and women existing together, sensually, platonically, intimately. A strong emphasis is placed on fabric - either through painted surface pattern, or the inclusion of actual fabric in the piece. Woven textures are symbolic, of "women's work," and as a metaphor for life. Each thread is an experience, and when woven together the unique tapestry of life forms.
