Collection: Frida Leiding

I paint in oil, mainly landscapes with large elements of clouds but also still life. I am very inspired by the nature around me as well as the old masters. The art of the Renaissance, Romanticism and Impressionism are periods I always return to.

What I want to convey in my paintings is a simplicity in connection with the striking feeling of the beauty that is found in nature. With simple but strong brushstrokes, subtle elements and thoughtful placement of colors, they get an atmosphere that I love.
